This was caused primarily by an error in the apple mediaplayer framework, unfortunately it may have corrupted your database, so the simplest fix we've found so far is to delete and reinstall the app.
If you have this problem, there are 2 fixes.
1) Delete the app and reinstall it. Then you can redownload your in-app purchases (even if you re purchase them, apple will not charge you a second time).
otherwise, can you please help us make the program more robust?
just follow these steps to help us:
1) Sync your device with iTunes
2) Send us all files that begin with "Pokémaker" and end with ".crash" in this folder on your computer:
Mac OS X: Hard Disk:/Users//Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\
Windows Vista: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\
Send to support@pokemunity.com : you can zip them up and email in one attachment if you want.
We can then have look and hopefully fix it quickly for you.
Thanks!

Fix bug
I have just put the iPod on standby whilst it's loading and the app now works so if you are having loading problems try doing this, it could work!!! XD
Is there no update that will
Is there no update that will sort out the loading problem, I don't want to loose all my cards!!
App Crash
My app has been working perfectly since I've downloaded the new version and now at the startup screen where it says Pokemaker in large letters with alot of cards on it it freezes and crashes after about 20 seconds. I don't want to lose all of my cards again so is deleting it and reinstalling it the only choice?
Need help! Reply
I'm using the newest update and it still will not open. I click on the app to open it, then it goes to the page where it has alot of cards on the screen. I'm guessing that's the start up screen. Anyway after about 20 seconds it takes me back to my standard iPod screen. I'm using a iPod touch 2G. My iPod is not jailbroken. Question, if I delete the app after backing up my iPod on iTunes, then restoring it from the back up, will I still have my cards?
delete and reinstall will lose your cards
Sorry, delete and re-install WILL remove all your cards.
The screen with "lots of cards" is it a list of card names?
It's very interesting you get kicked out after 20 seconds. Are you tapping or scrolling? What happens if you do nothing when it opens, does it still kick you out?
Case Closed
The screen with alot of cards on it is the first screen that pops up right after I tap on the app. Anyways I resolved the problem by simply removing(deleting) the app from my iPod, then reinstalling it. The app actually works now. If there are any complaints I can still point out is that it ocassionaly crashes (so far only twice for me). With that said I can't wait for further updates. P.S why trade a card when you can simply download the card, sorta makes the trading card funtion useless.

And about Trading Cards: We have a longer term plan that will make use of trading cards that will become apparent in the near future. When Apple releases the next main iOS update for iOS4.
In the mean time, trading cards is useful for any cards that are "personal" or that have content that won't be approved on the Pokémunity Card Database.
